Sonne Hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Interlaken in the peaceful suburb of Matten, next to the main road leading up to Grindelwald.
The hotel arranges Adventure Days for the guests that included River rafting paragliding, ice climbing and biking : In the morning guests do a spectacular Riverraft on the challenging, powerful mountain river, the Lütschine at Interlaken's "back door". I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visting interlaken. Really magnificient rooms with good facilities. Excellent breakfast and easy access to the railway and bus stations
We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The hotel is about a mile away from town, removed from "hotel row" and that was really nice for us. The clientele was German, French and British when we were there and so we were the only Americans which was a treat...
Hotel is very nice . Location is good. Owner is very nice person and helpful. Compare to other hotels it is nice and cheap. finally i was very happy to stay there.
