The Pousada was from Almadas Family and was built in XVI century. From many years receive people from European nobleness. In the first half of XIX century was transformed in an inn, posterior was an orphanage to poor Childs and asylum for old age without home.
This Palace was completely reconstructed, has been transformed in a beautiful Pousada. |

It is 2 km to Conímbriga, which is one of the best preserved ancient Roman ruins in Europe. The centre of Condeixa is approximately 4 km away. |
