Maracas Bay Hotel is located on Trinidad's most popular beach a one and a half hour drive via taxi service from Piarco International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago’s capital city. Trinidad is one of the two islands which make up the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the two most southerly located islands of the Caribbean.
Just 30 feet away from the hotel compound is the picturesque fishing village of Maracas where you can witness fishermen bring in their daily catch in their colourful pirogues. If you are lucky, you might even be able to give them a hand, pulling in the huge fishing net known as the seine. |
