Florida Norte Hotel is a modern four star hotel, built in the 1970s, in the very centre of Madrid, entering through the Rosales Hall and gift shops, with 400 fully furnished rooms with all the services and equipment of a grand hotel. I have stayed at Florida Norte Hotel twice in 2007 and 2008. The hotel is a clean and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. The location is really good, there is Principe Pio metro station right across the hotel.

This hotel is right in downtown Madrid, close to the sightseeing, as well as the nightlife. We went to a flamenco show, took the Metro, and went to a disco all within walking distance of the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, and was helpful in assisting...
This is a good choice if you are looking for something clean, cheap, relative good location (near sub station and a nice Mall)
